The Onaga softball team punched their ticket to the Class 2-1A State Tournament in Pratt next week winning the Wabaunsee Regional Tournament on Thursday.

The Buffaloes beat Blue Valley-Randolph 10-0 in the first round on Tuesday and then won both of their games on Thursday. They beat Valley Heights 5-2 in eight innings on a three-run walk off home run and followed that with a 3-2 win over Mission Valley in the title game.

Onaga has a record of 19-4 overall with losses only to Oskaloosa, St. Marys, and Troy. They have notable sweeps this season against Wabaunsee, Valley Heights, Centralia, and Valley Falls. Valley Falls won 16 games and made their regional title game.

The Buffaloes will enter the State Tournament in Pratt next week with plenty of momentum as they've won 10 games in a row and haven't lost since April 19.
