Week Two High School Football Rankings Released

Kpreps has released their week two high school football rankings with some area teams finding themselves inside those rankings heading into their week two match ups. 

8M-II has no change at the top as the defending state champs in Hanover remained number one after a 44-0 win over Pike Valley last Friday. 

Axtell has jumped into the rankings at number four after a 62-16 rout over then ranked number five Wheatland/Grinnell. 

Staying inside the TVL as Frankfort checks in at number five this week after a monster week against Washington County in their opener, 60-34. 

In Class 2A, Nemaha Central remained in the rankings despite a loss in week one at Holton. The Thunder are ranked third behind Rossville and Silver Lake and will host Royal Valley on Friday night. 

Speaking of Holton, they are ranked fifth in Class 3A after their 25-24 win over Nemaha Central in week one. Holton will battle with 1-0 Chapman this Friday night.
