Sabetha Bluejays wrestling team as hit the mats with plenty of duals in the books already to start the season and are 4-3 in the early going of the season. Individually plenty of Bluejays have been shining on the mat, especially the wrestling prowess of seniors, Levi Huneke and Tyler Edelman who both find themselves ranked in the state in their weight classes. Edelman checks in as number one in the state in Class 3A rankings in the 195lb weight class, as he's started the season off with a 6-1 record. For, Huneke he's off to a 7-0 start thus far and ranks second in the weight class of 182lbs.

Three other Bluejays have started the season off 5-2 as seniors, Brandon Pokrandt and Thaine Allen and freshman Trei Harrell all have registered five wins on the mat to start the year. Sabetha adds to with their strong wrestling team with junior, Ben Mayer and sophomore, Austin Garber who are both 4-3 to start the year.

Behind great performances on the season thus far on the mat the Sabetha Bluejays as a team are ranked eighth in 3A rankings.
