Onaga played host to three other Twin Valley League schools and two other non-league teams in a round-robin style volleyball Invitational over the weekend.

At the end of the day it was Wabaunsee coming up with the top performance going 5-0 in action, followed by Frankfort who took second as a team with a 3-2 record in action. Wabaunsee picked up straight set wins in all five of their competitions, beating Mission Valley (25-6, 25-17), Blue Valley-Randolph (25-17, 25-15), Frankfort (25-22, 25-9), Wetmore (25-7, 25-19) and Onaga (25-14, 25-17).

For, Frankfort the Wildcats picked up their three wins against Wetmore (25-22, 25-19), Blue Valley-Randolph (25-15, 25-20) and Mission Valley (25-18, 19-25, 25-23), while suffering losses to Wabaunsee and Onaga (25-20, 14-25, 28-26).

Three teams finished the competition with 2-3 marks on the day as Onaga, Blue Valley-Randolph and Mission Valley each won a pair of matches. Onaga picked up wins against Frankfort and Blue Valley-Randolph (25-15, 20-25, 25-18) winning both matches in three sets, while falling to Wabaunsee, Wetmore (18-25, 19-25) and Mission Valley (19-25, 18-25). Blue Valley notched their wins against Mission Valley (25-21, 25-17) and Wetmore (25-21, 25-14), while losing to Wabaunsee, Onaga and Frankfort. For Mission Valley their wins came against Onaga and Wetmore (25-19, 25-18).

The Wetmore Cardinals finished the day just 1-4 in action, claiming their win against the host Onaga in straight sets.
