2013 Class 4A Bonner Springs Cross Country Results -- click here

A spot at the State competition was up for grabs on Saturday (October 26th) across the state in all classifications for cross country as teams and individuals competed for the right to continue their season by earning a spot at the state tournament.

In Class 4A only one runner from the listening area was able to register a top 10 mark to notch a spot in the state competition come next Saturday.

Atchison lady Red sophomore runner, Sarah Jaloma continued to shine this season as she ran her way to the 4A Bonner Springs Regional title posting a time of 15:26.98, winning by just over six seconds. The KCAL champion now turns her attention to the state competition this coming Saturday in Wamego at the Wamego Country Club with the girl’s 4A race slated to start at noon.

For the other area 4A schools no team was or individuals were able to grab spots in the state competition. Royal Valley, Holton, Perry Lecompton and Jeff West did finish with a few top 50 finishers on the day in Class 4A Regionals competition.

Attention now turns to the state competition for Atchison's, Sarah Jaloma as she looks to improve upon her 38th place performance as a freshman at state last year.
