It was a great wrap up to the season for the Lady Bluejays of Sabetha on the tennis courts as they took home a first place and pair of second place finishes at the Hayden Quad and now turn their attention to regionals coming up.

Continuing to do what they do best and that is notch wins and dominate it was the doubles tandem of Amy Wysong and Ellie Montgomery leading the way for Sabetha on the day going 3-0 in the doubles number one competition. It was impressive dominating wins for the tandem grabbing 8-1, 8-1 and 8-0 wins over Hayden, Ottawa and Bishop Meige, respectively.

The top performances didn't stop there for the Lady Bluejays as the doubles team of Jordyn Wells and Courtney Plattner and the singles competitor, Alexa Menold each took home a second place performance, after both going 2-1 in competition.

For Jordyn and Courtney they took home wins over Ottawa and Bishop Meige in impressive fashion winning 8-5 and 8-2, while holding their own with the team from Hayden as they forced a tiebreaker in that contest. Against Hayden the Bluejays tandem fell in the tiebreaker set losing 8-7 (7-4), bring it down to the wire.

Alexa grabbed an 8-5 and 8-3 win over Hayden and Ottawa for her two match wins in the days competition, before falling to Bishop Meige 8-1 in her lone loss of the day.

The Lady Bluejays seem to have been hitting their groove and continually getting better all season and look to peek at the right time with Regionals and the State on the horizon.
