Preseason honors in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference continue to be handed out and another former Kanzaland area athlete finds themselves earning preseason honors in the KCAC, this time in the sport of volleyball.
Former Hiawatha Redhawk, Taylor Klover was selected to 2013 KCAC Preseason volleyball team after a great year last year and great college career thus far at Kansas Wesleyan University. Klover comes into her junior season with the Coyotes returning as the team’s leader in blocks (142) with a 1.05 block per set average. She also returns as the team’s second best player in kills (281), a 2.08 average per set and was third on the team last year in attack percentage at .323.
Klover put up those stats while helping the Coyotes to a second place finish in the KCAC league as just a sophomore last year. The Coyotes won the league in her freshman season and come into the 2013 season as the preseason favorites to win the KCAC league crown.
The junior for the Coyotes and former Hiawatha Redhawk is joined by two other teammates on the KCAC all-preseason team and looks to continue to provide her great talent on the court for the Coyotes this year in their quest to reign as champions of the KCAC league again.
