Merrick Noll Runs Wild in Playoff Victory for Jefferson County North

The Jefferson County North football team got its postseason run started in a big way last week, and leading the charge was running back Merrick Noll.

The Chargers opened the playoffs with a convincing 58-20 home victory over Mission Valley, and Noll was nearly unstoppable, putting together a monster night on the ground. Noll finished with an incredible 243 rushing yards and five touchdowns, helping Jefferson County North take control and advance in the postseason.

Noll's big-time performance was another example of the impact he has made throughout the season for the Chargers. With the playoff performance added to his season totals, Noll now has 1,205 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns on just 155 carries.

But his production hasn't been limited to the ground game. Noll has also added 96 receiving yards and another touchdown through the air, giving him more than 1,300 total yards of offense and 19 touchdowns on the season.

His combination of explosiveness, consistency and ability to find the end zone has made him one of the biggest weapons in the Jefferson County North offense. And with the postseason now underway, Noll is showing that he can take his game to another level when the stakes are highest.

With 243 rushing yards and five touchdowns in a playoff-opening victory, along with more than 1,300 total yards and 19 touchdowns on the season, Merrick Noll has certainly earned this week's Athlete of the Week recognition.
