JCN boys and girls win NEKL league XC Meet
The Jefferson County North Chargers swept the Northeast Kansas League Cross Country meet, with their boys and girls teams both taking home the trophy.
However, the league meet record was broken on the boys and girls side, on the boys side it was broken by Eric Ashworth from Riverside, who got 1st, with a 17:03.4. Kail Bare, from Horton, who finished 2nd, also broke the record, running a 17:13.8. So congrats to those two, but the record officially belongs to Ashworth now.
On the girls side, it was Troy's Ella Grable, who broke the record, she ran a 20:23.9, so congrats to all three record breakers.
