Holton Volleyball Claims Sabetha Tournament Title

The Holton volleyball team captured the Sabetha Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon. 

The Wildcats went a perfect 6-0 en route to the championship. In pool play, they defeated Rossville (25-19, 25-23), Concordia (25-21, 25-11), Hiawatha (25-7, 25-11), and Jackson Heights (25-7, 25-19). 

They defeated Wamego in the semifinals 25-12 & 25-20 and followed that by beating Marysville in the championship match 25-18 & 25-10. 

Sabetha claimed third place going 3-1 in pool play. The Bluejays beat Jackson Heights (26-24, 25-10), Wamego (25-16, 25-23), and Concordia (25-21, 25-16) with their lone loss in pool play against Marysville (23-25, 25-16, 23-25). 

The Bluejays would fall to Marysville in the semifinals before defeating Wamego 25-19 & 25-17 in the third place match.
