Valley Heights Clinches Thriller over Jackson Heights

Valley Heights opens up district play with a 15-14 victory over Jackson Heights.

Mustangs scored on their opening drive of the game going 63 yards down the field. Ben Miller tossed a 22-yard touchdown pass to Wyatt Dummermuth to go up 7-0. The first half ended 7-0.

Jackson Heights scored two touchdown in the third quarter off Kolby Bowhays legs on one and another from his arm on a 52-yard touchdown pass and catch from Hayden Shultejans.

On the final drive of the game for Valley Heights they would punch it in on the goal line 4th and 1 with 40 seconds left to go from Charlier Warders. Miller would convert the 2-pt conversion to go up 15-14. 

Jackson Heights would not be able to respond and fall 15-14 to Valley Heights. Cobras will look to bounce back next week versus Wabaunsee on homecoming night.
