JCN Goes 5-0 to Capture Lyndon Invitational Championship

The Jefferson County North volleyball team captured the Lyndon Invitational Championship on Saturday. 

The Chargers went a perfect 5-0 on the day and didn't drop a single set. 

In pool play, they defeated Northern Heights (25-13, 25-10), Jayhawk-Linn (25-15, 25-11), and Lebo (25-16, 25-11). The Chargers advanced and beat Central Heights (25-10, 25-7) in the semfinals. 

The championship match put JCN in a rematch with Lebo, and the Chargers were victorious by a final tally of 25-18, 25-14. 

The Chargers are one of the top teams in Class 2A and are a perfect 9-0 on the season with only one dropped set.
