Head coach Jon Thomas when asked about the veteran playmaker said, “Coming off a late football season, it took Abe a little bit of time to get into a basketball mode. He has played at a high level since Christmas. He is becoming more of a leader for us, and he is posting strong and finishing through contact. Abe is a quiet, but extremely positive person. He has a great deal of confidence in his teammates and their capabilities. Abe is the first to give his teammates a positive boost amid adversity.”
