Hailey Nordhus

Hailey Nordhus got off to a great start for the Nemaha Central cross-country team this past weekend as she won the Marysville 5K at Marysville Country Club.

Hailey finished nearly 10 seconds ahead of second place and helped the Thunder finish second as a team behind only Riley County.

She was top 50 in the Class 3A State Cross-Country meet last year as she finished 42nd.

At State Track this past year, Hailey finished fourth in the 3A 400-meter dash and was part of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in third place.

She was also a key piece of the Nemaha Central softball team.
