Caden Dalinghaus of Frankfort continues his stellar athletics season, this time with track and field. Caden and his Wildcat teammates competed at Valley Heights last week and Caden broke his own school record in the triple jump.

His new triple jump record stands at 43 feet - 7.50 inches. The jump was more than three feet farther than second place.

Caden was also part of the 4x100 meter relay team that finished first place, the 4x400 meter relay team that finished fourth, and he also finished seventh in the long jump.

Caden placed third at the 1A state meet last year with a jump of 42.7.  He was also a member of the 4x100 relay that placed seventh at 45.79 at state.  Caden is also a four year member of FFA, basketball and football.  He's a three year member of the National Honor Society, four year Adopt A Highway and 3 year Meals on Wheels volunteer.   

He will graduate as the class Valedictorian and attend Fort Hays State University and major in finance.
