Horton Girls Powerlifting Team

Our “Athletes of the Week” is the Horton Girl’s Powerlifting team. The Chargers took home the Class 1A State title this past weekend.

Tysaa Banks took home first place in the 105 division to lead Horton while Maliyah Soto and Carley Hutfles posted second place finishes. Soto at 140 and Hutfles at 165. 

Kamryn Kahbeah tallies a third place finish in the 105 division while Piper Chartier, Carley Hammersmith, Rylan Miller, and Harmonie Garrison also finish in third place. Chartier at 140, Hammersmith at 165, and Miller at 180.

Ashtyn Keo takes home fourth at 123 and Amayah Boller also finishing in fourth at 180. 

Madison Stirton and Isabelle Gaskell round out the Horton girls with fifth and sixth place finishes respectively.
