Holton Volleyball

The Holton volleyball team posted their best season in school history with a runner-up finish in 3A as they lost to Silver Lake in the title match. 

Holton finished at 38-10 which included an 8-2 mark in a stacked Big East league. Multple players came up clutch in Hutchinson at the state tournament with multiple Cats making the KVA All-State team with Khloe Black and Tinley Wilson. 

In the five matches in Hutchinson, Black tallied 75 digs, 65 kills, 10 assists, nine blocks, three aces, and zero serve errors. Wilson totaled 63 kills, 58 digs, 10 assists, and four aces. 

Black was also named second team all-league while Wilson was an honorable mention selection. 

Emily Ditzler earned third team all-league honors and finished the state tournament with 18 kills, 18 digs, and led the team with 13 solo blocks while adding three aces. 

Other stats from the state tournament included Bailey Kathrens with 45 digs, Kinley Fluke with 62 assists, Faith Olberding with 61 assists, Rebekah Lassey with 18 kills and nine blocks, and Marley Gilliland with seven kills.
