Pauly Rockey

Hiawatha junior Pauly Rockey helped the Redhawks cross country team to a meet win at Marysville this past weekend. 

She ran a time of 21:02.12 which was 14 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. With two of her teammates finishing in the top 10, the Redhawks won the meet. 

This is coming off a ninth place finish at state cross country last season. She was also chosen by her peers to be the team captain in 2025. 

Head coach Becky Shamburg: "Pauly put in a good summer of work and has continued to push both herself and her teammates in the early season. I am not surprised at all by how she competed at her first meet. She has gained confidence from her first two years and that confidence has made her an even stronger runner."
