Linn girls basketball coach Trevor Kuhlman was named the Sports in Kansas 1A-II Coach of the Year. 

He led the Bulldogs to their first ever state championship game appearance falling to TVL rival Hanover. 

It's been a successful year for Kuhlman as he's also the AD and football coach. During the football season, the Bulldogs got their first home playoff game since 1998. 

Five of the seven losses for Linn this season were against teams that won state championships and another was against a team that also played in a state title game.
