Boys 3A Third Place Game: Silver Lake 63, Galena 51

The game was only tied twice and Silver Lake never trailed against the Bulldogs finishing with a third place finish in Hutchinson. 

The Eagles (20-6) led 16-14 after an exciting first quarter and then they would dominate the second quarter outscoring Galena (23-2) 15-8 in the second quarter to take a 31-22 lead at halftime. 

Galena would chip away a little bit in the second half but the Eagles never gave up the lead. 

Silver Lake had 32 points in the paint and finished with 29 rebounds. The Eagles shot 51% from the field including 5-of-13 from three point range. They also finished 12-of-19 from the free throw line. 

Dayne Johnson finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds while Deondre Razzano finished with 13 points and three rebounds. Jared Johnson finished with 11 points. 

Galena was led by Jackson Perry with 15 points and six rebounds while Linken Kimberling finished wth 14 points.
