On October 10th, the Horton volleyball team swept both Troy and Oskaloosa, capturing their first Northeast Kansas League title for the first time in 35 years.

They lost only one league match, winning 13 of their 14 contests.

The Chargers had four key seniors on their roster with Kamryn Kahbeah, Carly Hutfles, Lyttia Linck, and Piper Chartier.

Horton finished their season with an overall record of 30-13 which included a run to the Sub-State Championship match.
