K-Preps Rankings Ahead of the First Round of the Playoffs

K-Preps have released their latest rankings ahead of first round playoff matchups this week. 

Axtell won their 47th straight game to close out the regular season with a 76-30 final at Frankfort.to stay #1 in 8M-II. The winning streak is the longest in Kansas eight-man history. 

Hanover defeated Linn to finish the regular season 7-1. The Wildcats are ranked #4. 

Jackson Heights dropped out of the #1 spot to #2 in 1A despite beating JCN 52-0 to finish an undefeated regular season. The Cobras are the top overall seed in the 1A playoffs and will have home field advantage throughout. 

Rossville held their spot at #5 in 1A after closing the regular season with their fifth straight win. 

Nemaha Central closed out their regular season with a shutout win over ACCHS. The Thunder remain #2 in 2A behind only Southeast of Saline.
