The Nemaha Central cross country team won the Sabetha Invitational on Thursday afternoon just beating out Marysville.
Recent MSC Sports athlete of the week Dominick Schnider of Royal Valley won the event while Nemaha Central's Harry Langill finished in second place.
St. Mary's Academy, St. Marys, and Baldwin rounded out the top five team scores.
Other notable top 10 finishes include Guy Phillips of Jefferson West finishing in ninth place while Kristopher Fulkerson of Centralia finished in 10th place.
In the girls race it was Baldwin who won the team title and they also had the individual champion with Irelyn Kennedy with a time of 21:03.81.
Hiawatha, Royal Valley, Centralia, and Nemaha Central rounded out the top five team scores.
Other top 10 finishes included Pauly Rockey of Hiawatha finishing runner-up, Aubrey Phillips of Jefferson West in fourth place, Maddy Mosteller of Nemaha Central in fifth place, Josie Shelton of Royal Valley in sixth place, Belle Smith of Doniphan West in eighth place, and Bri Guilliams of Hiawatha in ninth place.
