The Oskaloosa baseball team secured their second straight Northeast Kansas League title this week after winning two games against Maur Hill-Mount Academy.
The Bears boast a record of 21-2 overall and a 13-1 mark in NEKL play with still two games left on the schedule against Horton.
They started the season 4-0 before dropping two games against Mission Valley. They would follow that by winning eight in a row before a loss to Pleasant Ridge. They will go into their regular season finale against Horton riding a current nine game winning streak.
They have also been a major player inside the rankings from the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches throughout the season in Class 2-1A.
