Frankfort Girls, Centralia Boys Claim Wildcat Track & Field Invitational

Frankfort Invitational – Results

Area high school track teams also continued their seasons Thursday afternoon at the Frankfort Invitational, and it was the host Wildcat girls along with the Centralia boys who claimed team titles.

On the girl’s side Frankfort won the meet behind 10 first place finished led by Lydia Louisea who won the 100 and 200-meter dashes along with the long jump, while Maggie Armstrong won the 300-meter hurdlesand pole vault, Chloe Mitchell the discus, Aubrie Rose the javelin, and the 4 by 100, 400 and 8000-meter relay teams also taking gold.

Centralia racked up the wins on the day on the girl’s side as Sarah Koch won the 800 and 3200-meter runs while Sydnie Boeckman won the high jump.

Onaga rounded out area performances with two wins as Brianna Bates won the 400-meter dash while Rebecca Krohn won the 1600-meter run.

On the boy’s side Centralia won the meet with seven first place finishes as Maveryk Becker won the 400-meter run, William Collinge the 800-meter run, Trey Morrison the 3200-meter run, Ian Haverkamp the javelin and the Panther 4 by 400 and 4 by 800-meter relay teams also capturing gold.

The Onaga Buffaloes added five winners of their own with Casey Myers winning the high jump, 200-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles, and Colby Myers the 1600-meter run.

Frankfort rounded out the meet with four first place finishes as Keller Olson won the 100-meter dash and long jump, Caden Dalinghaus the triple jump and the Wildcat 4 by 100-meter relay team also taking gold.
