With the high school basketball season officially over the state of Kansas has started to compile stats for the 2019-20 season and one area athlete wrapped up a new state record.

Frankfort’s Garret Dalinghaus is the new record holder for charges taken in a career as the senior finished with 50 total charges in his four-year career.

Dalinghaus was a key piece to one of the Wildcats best season’s in recent memory as Frankfort finished the year with a record of 20-7 which ended with a loss in the opening round of the Class 1A State Tournament.

Dalinghaus’ strong season resulted in him earning a first team all-Twin Valley League selection and puts him in great position to be named an all-state selection next week.
