Silver Lake Girl’s Golf Invitational – Results

Area girl’s golf teams got back in action Monday afternoon competing at the Silver Lake Invitational and the best area finish came from Jeff West who took third as a team.

The Tigers finished with a team scores of 223 which was 24 strokes behind champion Hayden and were led by Tehya Starr who finished 10th carding a 52.

Jeff West also had Mollie Williams finish 13th with a 53 while Lily Yager added an 18th place finish along with Jocelyn Hartley and Mackenzie Green going back-to-back finishing 26th and 27th.

Holton also had girls in action Monday and the Lady Cats were led by Katina Bartel who finished 26th while Alex Thompson was two strokes behind to finish 29th.  

The meet wraps up the regular season for Holton, while Jeff West will have one more meet to finish things off before regionals as the Tigers will travel to Basehor-Linwood on Thursday.
