By Tom Kautz

Pleasant Ridge used two 4th quarter scores to defeat ACCHS 31-21 on homecoming.

In a game that was moved to a 5:00 start in anticipation of incoming weather, both PR and ACCHS scored two 1st quarter touchdowns.  Ridge struck first on a 25 yard pass from Conner Gibson to Kenton Comer and then on the first of 3 TD's on the evening by Jake Heckman from 13 yards.  ACCHS put their first points up 12 seconds later on a 65 yard Tucker Smith run.  Smith scored again just before the end of the quarter from 32 yards out tying the game at 14.

The Rams scored in the second quarter from 10 yards out on another Heckman run and led at the half 21-14.

Kieran Courter tied the game at 21 with an 8 yard TD run for the Tigers late in the third, but the fourth quarter was all Rams,  One more score by Heckman (8 yards) and a 25 yard field goal from Freshman Aiden Battle who was perfect on the night (4/4 PAT's and 1/1 FG) and Pleasant Ridge moves to 2-2 on the season while ACCHS goes to 1-3.

Next week the Rams travel to Nemaha Central and ACCHS hosts Riverside,
