After baseball all-state selections were announced earlier this week the high school softball all-state teams have finally been announced.
The only area first team selection in Class 3A came from Royal Valley who had McKenzie Ogden earn a spot as a utility player. On the second team the Holton Lady Cats added three selections with Grace Utz at catcher, Bailey Flewelling as an infielder and Jewel Lutz in the outfield.
In 2-1A Oskaloosa led the way with three first team selections with Ellie Stember at pitcher, Sophia Rockhold at catcher and Regan Curry on the infield, while McLouth had Kimi Patterson earn a spot as a utility player.
On the second team Oskaloosa added two more all-state selections with Reece Curry earning a spot on the infield along with Paige Lowe.
