Northeast Kansas All-League Baseball Selections Released

The high school baseball season officially came to a close Monday evening and with that all-league teams for the 2019 season have started to roll in.

The Northeast Kansas League was the latest to announce their all-league selections and the first team was dominated by the league champion Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens who dominated the league with a record of 10-0.

On the first team the Ravens had six selections with Abe Siebenmorgen and Drew Caudle at pitcher, Ayden Black at catcher, Zach Schwinn and Dickson Linn on the infield and Aaron Noll in the outfield.

Valley Falls finished second in the league with a record of 8-2 and added three selections on the first team with Diego Cervantez at pitcher, Tyler Lockhart on the infield and Lucas Welborn in the outfield.

Just like Valley Falls, Oskaloosa added three more first team selections with Justin Shufflebarger at pitcher, Hunter Reed on the infield and Eli Tarwater as a utility player.

The first team selections were rounded out by McLouth and Pleasant Ridge who each added one, as the Bulldogs were led by Jonah Willits in the outfield while the Rams had Colton Comer earn an outfield spot.
