Royal Valley Track Invite Results - Sabetha Teams Both Second

Ten girls and boys teams competed Tuesday at the Royal Valley Spring Track and Field Invitational with both Sabetha teams claiming second place honors.  The Royal Valley boys finished sixth as a team while the Lady Panthers were fourth, just ahead of Jackson Heights. 

Highlighting the competition for Sabetha was Mason Engelken winning the boys 110 and 300 meter hurdle races and Christian Meyer taking first in the pole vault.  On the girls side, Emily Meyer had the best javelin throw and the Lady Jays won the 4x800 relay with a team of Alexis and Skylar McAfee, Taryn Schuette and Hannah Enneking. 

Royal Valley got a pair of gold medals by Macy Putnam is the 100 and 300 meter hurdles while Lucas Broxterman won the boys high jump for the Panthers and Jarrett Roy took first in the javelin.. 

Jackson Heights had three gold medalists as Westin Jacobsen won the 100 meter dash, Wyatt Olberding took first in the boys triple jump and Faith Little finished 10 seconds ahead of everyone in the girls 800 meter run.
