The spring sports seasons are underway and several area athletes are set to compete in multiple sports this spring. Two of those sports in boy’s golf and boys tennis now their postseason Regional assignments as KSHSAA has released the Regionals for golf and tennis this spring. 

In boys golf action both Holton and Jeff West will compete in Class 4A at the Wamego Regional taking place on Monday, May 16th at Wamego Country Club. While, Atchison will break out the clubs at the KC Piper 4A Regional at Dub's Dread golf course in Kansas City. Class 3A will feature an area school hosting Regional golf action as Nemaha Central will host a Regional at Spring Creek golf course in Seneca with several other area teams competing there including Sabetha, Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Marysville, Hiawatha, Royal Valley and ACCHS. While, Perry Lecompton will compete at the Silver Lake 3A Regional at Lake Shawnee golf course in Topeka. All three area 2A schools with boy’s golf teams: Horton, Valley Heights and Washington County will compete at the Republic County Regional at Belleville Country Club. For Class 1A Centralia, Frankfort, Immacualta, Hanover and Onaga will all travel to Pleasanton for Regionals at Deer Trace golf course, while Linn will swing the clubs at the Lost Springs-Centre Regional at Marion Country Club, Marion. 

For boys tennis there is five area schools with programs and they will compete in two Regionals. In Class 4A, Atchison will compete in Regional action Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th at Desoto high school. While in Class 3-2-1A Immaculata will host a Regional and host the other three area teams in Pleasant Ridge, Hiawatha and Marysville along with other teams set for Saturday, May 7th.
