JCN Takes Shutout Win on Homecoming
By Tom Kautz

Homecoming 2012 provided the backdrop for an important win for Jefferson County North Friday night as they defeated Immaculata 18-0.

The game was scoreless at halftime as both teams rolled up considerable yardage but neither could put anything on the board.  The second half began with a long kickoff return by James Pisachubbee which set up the first of two 3rd quarter touchdowns by Charger QB Cory Noll.  It was a big night for Noll as he also pulled down two interceptions along with being named named Homecoming King.  JCN added a fourth quarter TD by Senior running back Dustin Fowler.

Immac's best scoring opportunity came on the first possession of the game as they took the opening.kickoff and drove to the Charger 1 yard line but came away empty.

Jeff North is now 4-1 overall, 2-0 in the DVL, and 1-0 in District play and travel to McLouth next Friday.  Immaculata goes to 2-3, 0-2, 0-1, and will host Oskaloosa.
