Sabetha Wraps Up Regular Season for Girls Tennis With Solid Performance at Hayden Tournament

The Sabetha Bluejays girls tennis team has been very successful this season on the tennis court and wrapped up the season at the Topeka-Hayden tournament featuring five teams. The Bluejays came away with a third place finish on the day both two third places in the individual competitions and two third places in the doubles competition.

In singles competition number one, Jennifer Stallbaumer placed third while Jordyn Wells competed in the singles competition number two, also taking third place. For the doubles competitions on the day the Bluejays say two more third places come their way as Amy Wysong and Ellie Montgomery placed third in the doubles number one and Lindsey Chadwell and Michaela Strahm in the doubles number two competition.

On the year in singles competition Jennifer Stallbaumer finishes with a 17-10 record, while Kyla Patron finishes 16-7 in singles competition, as she started the season off 7-0.

For the Bluejays doubles teams Amy Wysong and Ellie Montgomery finished with the most wins going 19-5, Laeny Edelman and Jessica Romines tallied a 12-5 record this season and Aliston and Andrea Roggenkamp finished 10-3 in doubles action.

Sabetha wraps a great regular season for their girls tennis team and now gears up for regional play at Hillsboro on October 5th and 6th.
