The Benedictine Ravens began the 2013 season with an impressive 30-9 win over Briar Cliff University in Atchison Saturday afternoon.

Raven running back Cameron Fore led the Raven rushing attack with 131 yards on 19 carries while Christian Haack carried only twice but took both to the endzone.  Kicker Zack Keenan connected on field goals of 41, 43, and 44 yards.  Benedictine scored through the air as well on a 12 yard TD pass from Bill Noonan to Emmaneul Ossai.  BC ran 81 plays in front of the home crowd picking up an impressive 465 yards of offense.

Andrew Jones led the Benedictine defense with 13 tackles while Eli Hendricks collected one interception.

With a bye week in front of them, the Ravens will be getting ready for KCAC opponent Friends University as they travel to Wichita September 14th for an evening game with the Falcons.  PreGame on KAIR will be at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00.
