Little Jack Hoffman's touchdown run at the Nebraska spring game has won an ESPY for best moment.

Jack and his father, Andy, accepted the ESPN award Wednesday night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The 8-year-old from Atkinson, Neb., has brain cancer. The video of his scoring scamper has been replayed on national TV and viewed more than 8 million times on YouTube.

Jack was 7 when he appeared on the Lincoln field late in the game on April 6. He took a handoff from quarterback Taylor Martinez and started left. But Martinez redirected him to the right so Jack could follow a wall of blockers, pumping his little legs down the field for a 69-yard touchdown run.

Players mobbed him and lifted him on their shoulders in triumph.
