The Frankfort boys basketball will be competing at the State Tournament in Dodge City and Wes Anderson was a big part of the Wildcats success in the sub-state tournament.
Wes dropped 34 points in the semifinal win on the road at #3 Bishop Seabury Academy. He averaged 21 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game in the sub-state tournament.
For the season, Wes is averaging nearly 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game.
He was also one of the top passing quarterbacks in the state during the football season leading the Wildcats to a 9-3 record and trip to the Sub-State championship game.
Boys basketball coach Adam Schreiner says that Wes has carried the team offensively all year and has been such a great leader and role model. “He rebounds well, shares the ball well and is willing to do anything needed to help our team succeed.”
This is the third time in his career that Wes has received an MSC athlete of the week honor.
