Oen Deters

What a season and career it has been for Centralia senior Oen Deters.

Oen scored 15 points in Centralia’s regular season finale over Blue Valley-Randolph which was a Panthers 60-24 victory.

Not only did it secure the undefeated regular season at 20-0 and the TVL title for the third time in the last four seasons, but Oen jumped inside the top 100 on the all-time girls scoring list in Kansas.

For the season, Oen is averaging 17.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 4.8 steals per game. For her career, Oen is averaging 17.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 4.2 steals per game.

Heading into the sub-state tournament, Oen is sitting at 1,659 career points. Centralia is the #2 ranked team in Class 1A-I.

This is the fifth time in her high school career that Oen has earned an MSC Radio Athlete of the Week honor.
