The Silver Lake boys wrestling team won the 33rd Annual Burlington Invitational this past weekend. The Eagles finished with 252 points with second place, McPherson finishing with 213.5 points.

Garrett Holmes won his bracket at 132 pounds, going a perfect 4-0 and defeating McPherson’s Keaton Crane by a 45 second pinfall in the title match.

He racked up nine takedowns and scored 45 match points, picking up two tech fall wins and two wins by pin.

He leads the team this season in takedowns, match points scored, and record.
