Jefferson County North junior quarterback Will Elias was crucial on Friday night in JCN’s 28-22 district win against Onaga.

Elias finished the game with 23 carries for 224 yards which included a clutch 60-yard run with under two minutes left that set up the go ahead touchdown on the very next play.

JCN rushed for well over 300 yards in the game and they have won four straight since losing the season opener against Maur Hill-Mount Academy.

In five games this season, Will has rushed for 609 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 294 passing yards and one more score.
