Kaston Jasper

Troy sophomore Kaston Jasper made his first career start at quarterback on Friday for the Trojans, and he lit up the scoreboard in what turned into a 62-6 win against Pleasant Ridge.

Kaston completed 17 of 27 passes for 308 yards with six touchdowns while adding a rushing touchdown to make it seven total touchdowns in the game.

He had started the season at wide receiver but had to step in at quarterback because of an injury to Gannon Bowe.

The Trojans are 2-1 through their first three games this season and are averaging just shy of 40 points per game.
