Hannah Brown

Going out on top is always something any athlete always dreams about but only a few can obtain that goal and that is what Auburn Bulldog senior, Hannah Brown did when she competed in the Class C State girls golf competition in Nebraska.

After finishing in the top 25 as a sophomore with a score of 193 in the two day tournament, Brown bettered her performance last year as a junior placing 11^th with a 190. But as a senior she shot up to the top of the pedestal winning the Class C State title to end her golf career on top. 

State tournament shortened to one day this year, Brown put up a round of 80, eight strokes over par at Quail Run golf course in Columbus to capture the State title finishing 10 strokes ahead of the second place performer and beating out 95 other competitors on the day.

Brown the week before took home the district crown by posting a round of 89 to earn her third straight trip to the State tournament.

Finishing your athletic career at the top in your respective sport is one is a goal of many but only attained by a few and Auburn senior, Hannah Brown did that winning the Class C State tournament.
