Carter Hajek

The Nemaha Central football team won their 17th consecutive game on Friday night 69-0 over Horton. Sophomore quarterback Carter Hajek has been one of the best players in the state through the first month of the season.

Carter accounted for seven touchdowns in the win over Horton. He completed 6 of 8 passes for 97 yards and a score while adding 12 carries for 145 yards and six more scores.

Through four games, Carter has rushed for 596 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding 320 passing yards and five more scores.

Carter also contributes on defense with a couple of pass break-ups. The Thunder have the best scoring defense in the state through the first four weeks as they’ve allowed only six points in four games.
