Eva Cortes

Holton cross country runner Eva Cortes has had a very productive season. At the Rim Rock Classic this past weekend in Lawrence, Eva was the first Holton Wildcat to place in the event. She finished seventh place out of more than 250 runners competing in her division.

She’s set a new personal record already this season and has two first place finishes at Holton and Hiawatha while adding a third place finish at Baldwin.

Holton has two more events at Perry-Lecompton and Osage City before the Big 7 league meet in early October.
