Joshua Grimm

Sabetha junior Joshua Grimm closed out his junior season on the mat with a runner-up finish at the 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend.

Grimm won his first two matches of the tournament by pinfall and then got to the title match with a 5-4 decision victory.

The run ended in the title match at 285 pounds as Grimm lost in extra time by a 3-2 decision.

Grimm had an incredible season with that runner-up finish at state. He finished this season with a record of 38-7 and is now 84-44 in his career.

He was the regional and Big 7 league champion along with winning other tournaments at Holton and Wamego.
