Aleah Wallisch

The ACCHS girls basketball team continued their rise in Class 3A this past weekend as they won the mid-season tournament at Jefferson County North.

Aleah Wallisch led the charge for the Tigers with a monster tournament. Her best performance was in the semi-final win over Rossville as she posted a stat line of 15 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks.

She added 12 points in the championship game win over Perry Lecompton and finished the three game tournament by averaging 14.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. Aleah made the all-tournament team along with three other teammates.

She’s second on the team this season in points per game (13.7), first in rebounds per game (7.8), first in steals per game (2.3), and second in blocks per game (1.7).

ACCHS is ranked #6 in Class 3A in the latest rankings from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.
