Just a few weeks remain in the high school wrestling regular season and Saturday afternoon area girl’s teams were in action at the ACCHS Invite with Royal Valley’s Maya Odgen putting together a strong performance.

Odgen went a perfect 3-0 on the day to claim the 138-pound title including all three wins via pinfall and two pins in under 1:15.

The title and perfect day improve Odgen to 13-0 on the season as she holds on to her No. 2 ranking in the state at 138 pounds.

She has made it to state wrestling the past two seasons for the Panthers, taking fourth last season with a 3-2 record at state while taking second in the 132-pound weight class as a sophomore.

Odgen will look to continue her strong season to this point and finish the regular season strong with regionals just two weeks away.
