The 2020 high school volleyball season has been in action for a little over a week and so far, the Sabetha Lady Jays have been perfect on the season with a first-place finish in the Marysville Invitational and a 6-0 mark.
A big reason to the success of Sabetha early on has been the play of senior Leah Renyer who has dominant at the net so far this season.
In the Lady Jays run to the Marysville Invitational Title, Renyer was outstanding as she finished with 44 kills through four matches while recording six blocks.
She then led Sabetha to two wins Tuesday night over Riverside and now has over 60 kills through the Lady Jays first six matches.
Renyer and Sabetha will look to continue their strong play Tuesday night as the Lady Jays are set to travel to Jeff West for Big 7 League play.
