Cade Ross

Heading into each season and each game, an athlete always dreams of having a type of performance that will always be remembered.
For Jeff West's Cade Ross that dream became a reality Friday night, as the sophomore quarterback set a school record and tied a state record with eight touchdown passes in the Tigers 55-0 beat down of KC Bishop Ward.
Ross’ eight scores tied Sacred Heart’s Steve Sheahon in 1975 and Zach Howell of Sunrise Christian Academy in 2011.
On the season Ross has shined getting the Tigers off to a 4-0 start, completing 63 percent of his passes for 956 yards and 19 touchdowns to just two interceptions.
A big key for Ross is the fact that his dad, Patrick, is right next to him on the sidelines serving as the offensive coordinator for the Tigers after spending 12 years as the head coach at Lindenwood University from 2004 to 2016.
Cade spent most of those years right next to his dad on the sideline, watching film and hanging out on the practice field setting up Cade for the success he is experiencing now.
The Ross duo will look to keep Jeff West going in what has been one of the most exciting seasons in school history, as the Tigers look to make a deep run in the Class 3A playoffs.
