The Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens girls’ basketball team has found a strong flight pattern winning their last seven games to sit at 10-4 on the season.
Ravens earned wins over Horton on the road and against Jackson Heights at home last week winning 48-38 and 51-43, respectively. Helping lead the way in both games and this season has been senior, Heather Ronnebaum. Ronnebaum notched 16 points against Horton and followed that up with an 18 points showing against Jackson Heights helping the Ravens one of their early season losses.
On the year Ronnebaum is averaging 13.9 points per game for the Ravens proving to be a strong and consistent scorer but has made an impact in many other ways. Heather has added 8.8 rebounds, four steals and 3.9 steals per game to her stat line this season. One of her best scoring performances of the season came against Mclouth when she scored 20 points.
Ronnebaum and the Ravens have their sights set on continuing their recent stretch of success to wrap up the regular season strong.
